Whenever you think of snow you think of Kashmir…across South Asia, whenever there’s a film and they want to show winter they go to Kashmir…it’s kind of known to be quite romantic, but also there’s this morbid kind of vibe too because of the socio-political situation there.

I chose the word ‘baraf’ (برف) which means ‘snow’ in Urdu...
